Hello Catch enthusiasts’! My last blog introduced you to our newest team members at Catch – Nikita and Kevin. Now it’s time for you to meet some more of the people who keep Catch humming so that you can enjoy our software just as much as we do! So without further ado, let’s meet some more of the team.

Stacy Busek

Stacy has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology & Linguistics as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Management. She has worked in Sales, Marketing and HR throughout her career, which started in the UK before making the big move to little NZ!

Stacy has been with Catch for 5 years. She started in 2007 to look after HR for the business (we were a busy consulting company back then), she has moved through various roles with the business and today she manages Marketing & HR! She is really excited to be a part of Catch, as the products and the company’s future continues to evolve.

“Who knows what I might be doing with the company in another 5 years’ time?!
That’s part of the excitement!”

When away from the office, Stacy is a language geek, loves movies and live music, and rates herself as a ‘total foodie’. But most of all she loves to travel!

Kieran Williams

Kieran is an experienced IT professional and ISTQB certified tester, who has been in the industry since 1995 in a number of roles around the world. Kieran specialises in test management and project management and feels very lucky to work with such an awesome team at Catch.

“I really enjoy the varied role I have here at Catch – no one day is the same
which makes life really interesting”.

When not working for Catch, Kieran spends a lot of time with her family, loves sport and watching the Olympics. She is involved a social soccer team, which she is missing a lot at the moment, but will definitely be back playing next year!

Laura Cannan

Laura studied at Auckland University of Technology where she achieved a BA in Psychology. She then moved to the USA on a Working Holiday Visa where she gained experience in a number of sales roles. Upon her return to New Zealand in 2011, she joined the team at Catch as the ‘Office Administrator’.

“My role at Catch is varied; I do general admin duties, as well as finance and a bit of sales too. I love the working relationships between team the members, it creates a really friendly atmosphere to work in”.

In what little spare time she has, Laura is a cheerleading coach. “Cheerleading is a big part of my life; I have been participating and coaching for 8 years. I love that it teaches you positivity, discipline, commitment and to work in a team environment which are all important skills to have in everyday situations”.

Alex Henderson

Alex holds a Bachelor of Computing Systems from Unitec. He is extremely passionate about software development. Programming is more than just a job for Alex, it’s a ‘way of life’ – he has been programming since the age of 6!

“I’m excited with the direction Enterprise Tester is heading. With upcoming additions to our API and plans to launch a SDK in the future, the energy in the team around the product is infectious!”

As well as Catch, Alex also works on a number of open source projects. He enjoys getting involved in the development community in New Zealand, running a popular local developer group. When Alex is not developing software, you might find him traveling to new countries in Asia and Europe, volunteering at the New Zealand Bird Rescue Charitable Trust, or relaxing at his 110 year old Villa in Dargaville.

Audrey Cheng

Audrey is the Product Manager for Enterprise Tester and core part of the team at Catch Software. She has vast experience in service delivery and account management in Health and IT sectors. She has achieved a Bachelors Degree in Biology & Zoology and a Certificate of Business. Audrey has a passion for working with customers and she loves our busy dynamic team.

“I have enjoyed every minute of my busy role at Catch. I love the team and company culture and I have a real passion for Enterprise Tester and a strong commitment to our customers”.

Away from Catch, Audrey loves traveling, cooking, eating and the company of her family and friends. She has in an interest in restoring and renovating her 1920’s home and enjoys gardening, although she says “there is much room for improvement”.

Tracey Day

Tracey is our Financial Controller. She manages payroll, PAYE, GST returns and expenses paid. Tracey has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and in her career has held a wide variety of roles in the IT industry in NZ, London and Vancouver, holding roles from help desk to customer delivery management.

“What I love about Catch is Bryce’s passion for the business and his desire for it to offer the best Test Management tools & services out there in the industry!“

Outside of work, Tracey is a Mum of three, which leaves little room for hobbies. Although she does enjoy Pilates classes a couple of times a week, usually squeeze in a run & is slowly working her way through a novel when she gets the chance.

Bryce Day

Bryce is the Founder and CEO of Catch Software. Even after 8 years he still really enjoys it and is excited to see Enterprise Tester in the market picking up customers like Intel, US Navy, Paypal, eBay, Orange, Bayer Health, Sony etc.

“We have a great team, product and set of customers that I work with on a daily basis so I am really excited about where we are heading as an organistion and look forward to Enterprise Tester becoming more of a household name in quality globally”.

Outside of work Bryce has competed in the round Taupo cycle race, been involved in a number of marathons, half ironman races, and he competed in the Ironman in 2004! He enjoys pottering in the veggie garden with the kids and after picking up a Rubik’s Cube in late 2011, it now it takes him only about 60 seconds to complete.

Trine Romlund

Trine has a degree in multi media and design from Aarhus University in Denmark. Trine has worked in the web design industry, throughout Scandinavia and the UK since 1995, but has been working in NZ since 2003 and has been with Catch since the very beginning 8 years ago.  She specialises in online and offline design and works with Catch to build their brand online as well as offline.

“I really love working with Catch – the company has gone through huge growth and is always moving which means I am always challenged, and who doesn’t love that!”.

Away from work Trine loves boxing and enjoys combat class whenever they are available at the gym.”I go as often as work and family life allows – I just love it! I come out looking like a beetroot but I feel great.“. All of Trines family lives in Denmark and she goes to see them once a year for a good stint!
